Abu Dhabi, SANA- Syrian Special Olympic team for athletes concluded its participation in the in the 6th FAZAA weightlifting International Athletics Competition in UAE by winning four medals.
Rasha al-Sheikh won the bronze medal after she managed to lift 105 kg in 73 kg competition, raising the total number of Syrian medals to four.
The Syrian national team has achieved two silver medals through athletes Fatima Hasan in 55kg and Noura Baddour in 41kg and a bronze medal by Natali Elias in 61kg competition.
The competition was held in Dubai Club for Disabled with the participation of more than 130 athletes representing 25 countries.
The teams which achieve good results in this event will qualify for the Rio 2016 Paralympics Games.
