Syrian-Iranian talks on boosting scientific cooperation

Tehran, SANA- Strengthening scientific research cooperation between Syria and Iran was discussed by Assistant Minister of Higher Education for Scientific Affairs and Scientific Research, Fadia Deeb, and the Deputy Science Minister for Innovation and Technology, Sajjad Mohammad-Ali Nejad.

During the meeting held in Tehran on Thursday, Deeb attached great importance to enhancing joint cooperation and exchanging experiences between the two countries along with keeping abreast of developments in modern technologies in various fields, in a way that serves the productive process.

Holding scientific conferences and exchanging of scholarships in the scientific and research specializations needed by universities and scientific research centers in Syria, in addition to establishing joint scientific laboratories were also the focus of the meeting.

In the same context, Deeb discussed in another meeting with Iranian Health Deputy Minister activating the scientific exchange agreement and benefiting from Iranian experiences in the specializations at stem cells and organ transplants.
