Cuban Parliament renews support for Palestinian just cause, condemnation of occupation crimes

Havana, SANA- The Cuban Parliament unanimously approved a declaration of support for the just cause of the Palestinian people, and a condemnation of the crimes of the Israeli occupation entity against them.

During the Parliament’s meeting in its 10th legislative session, in the presence of President Miguel Diaz and former President Raul Castro, the representatives ratified a statement in which they expressed their denunciation of the genocide against the Palestinian people, and the failure of the current international system to prevent stopping the Israeli massacres against the Palestinian people.

The statement stressed that the current situation in occupied Palestine is the result of 75 years of Israeli practices of occupation and colonialism, reiterating rejection and condemnation of the attacks carried out by the occupation against hospitals, schools, refugee camps, United Nations centers and other civilian infrastructure, in addition to depriving the Gaza Strip of water, food and electricity, and preventing humanitarian access.

Cuban parliamentarians condemned the deliberate killing of dozens of press workers, warning that all these acts constitute serious violations of international humanitarian law and international law, and constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity.
