Occupied Jerusalem, SANA- Dozens of Palestinians were martyred and others were injured on Thursday in the continued aggression launched by the Israeli occupation on the Gaza Strip for the 62nd day in a row.
Over the past hours, the occupation aircraft shelled a mosque in al-Daraj neighborhood, Gaza City, claiming the lives of at least 12 Palestinians and wounding dozens of them, in addition to destroying a number of neighboring homes, Wafa News Agency said.
The occupation forces also shelled al-Rimal neighborhood west of Gaza and al-Zeitoun and al-Shuja’iyya neighborhoods, east of the city, causing scores of deaths and injuries in addition to destroying residential buildings.
Also, the occupation forces also bombed, with air and artillery, neighborhoods and houses in Jabalia, northern Gaza Strip, Deir al-Balah, and al-Maghazi and Nuseirat camps, and Rafah and Khan Yunis, south of the strip, causing the martyrdom and injury of dozens.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said that the Health sector needs to be supported by cadres from outside the Strip, and that 60% of the wounded need to be evacuated from Gaza to receive treatment immediately, in addition to the fact that the medical and food aid that has been brought into the Strip wasn’t enough because of the repercussions of aggression.
