Syria, Armenia to boost ties in different domains

Damascus, SANA-Speaker of the People’s Assembly, Hammouda Sabbagh, described as deep and strong the relations between Syria and Armenia, stressing need to boost them in all domains.

Sabbagh, meeting Ambassador of Armenia in Damascus, Tigran Gevorgyan, called for enhancing bilateral relations in all aspects through exchanging delegations and visits in a way that positively reflect ties between both peoples.

“The Zionist entity perpetrates daily massacres against Palestinians in Gaza amid international silence,” Sabbagh said, adding that these hostile acts are not new, but the will of Palestinians people will defeat the Israeli war machine.

Ambassador Gevorgyan, for his part, said that an Armenian delegation will visit Syria soon in order to deepen ties between Armenian National Association and People’s Assembly in Syria.
