Mikdad: Unified Arab stance would stop Israeli aggression on Gaza

Damascus, SANA-Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Mikdad, made a telephone call Monday with Egyptian counterpart Samih Shukri.

Mikdad said that the main reason behind escalation of situation in the occupied territories is the criminal acts of the Zionist entity for decades in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

“A unified Arab stance would stop the Israeli attacks on the Palestinians and deliver humanitarian aid to children and women,” Mikdad added during the phone call.

Shukri, for his part, said Egypt is deeply concerned about the current events in Gaza and the mounting strikes on the Palestinian civilians by the Israeli occupation.
