Health Ministry launches campaign to follow up on vaccination dropouts, promote routine vaccines

Damascus, SANA- The Ministry of Health on Sunday launched the third campaign for this year to follow up on vaccination dropouts and promote routine vaccines for children under 5 in several provinces, and it will last till October 19th.

The campaign is being implemented at 981 health centers and 613 mobile teams covering different regions, with the participation of 9,549 health workers, according to Director of Primary Healthcare at the ministry, Dr. Razan Al-Tarabishi.

Al-Tarabishi added that the aim of the campaign is to ensure that children complete all the vaccines included in the national vaccination program, follow up on children who missed out the vaccinations, give them the due vaccines, and provide them with a new vaccine card in case that they do not have one.
