Asunción, SANA-On behalf of President Bashar al-Assad, Syria’s non-resident Ambassador to Paraguay, Sami Salameh, extended congratulations to the new President of Paraguay Santiago Peña Palacios who succeeded ex-president Mario Abdo Benítez.

President Pena Palacios received Mr. Salameh in the presence of Paraguay’s vice President and the Foreign Minister.
