Syrian –Belarusian talks on enhancing bilateral cooperation

Minsk, SANA- The Belarusian Minister of Education, Andrei Ivanets, discussed with the Syrian ambassador to Minsk Muhammad al-Omrani, means to enhance the Syrian – Belarusian relations and mechanisms of the continuation of the Syrian children’s health and entertainment camps.

During the meeting that was held in the Belarusian Ministry of Education, Ivantes affirmed that the strong Syrian-Belarusian relations are based on the distinguished relationship between the leaderships of both countries, referring to that the objectives of these camps are to providing entertainment for Syrian children who have suffered a lot during the years of war and to introduce them to the culture, history and traditions of Belarus.

For his part, ambassador al-Omrani expressed Syria’s great appreciation to the humanitarian initiative towards the Syrian children which has positive effects on enhancing the friendly relations between two countries, expanding the cultural and knowledge development for Syrian children and establishing the friendship relations between them and their Belarusian counterparts.

He expressed hope that this humanitarian initiative would continue in the upcoming years.
