Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue to rise to become from 2 to 4 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial high pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper atmosphere.
Meteorological Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be hot and the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, while the weather will be misty in the eastern regions and al-Badia.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a low to a moderate speed and some active gusts while the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major cities will be as follows: Damascus s 32 / 21, Aleppo 32 / 18, Homs 30 / 19, Lattakia 29 / 20, Tartous 28 / 20.
