Moscow, SANA- The air defenses shot down a drone over the region bordering Ukraine, governor of the Russian province of Belgorod, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced.
Novosti quoted Gladkov as saying on Telegram on Wednesday: “The downing of the drone did not result in any injuries,” noting that they are working to detect the results of the accident.
On Tuesday, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that it had repelled an attack by an armed sabotage group that infiltrated from Ukrainian territory towards Belgorod, and that more than 70 of the participants in the attack had been eliminated.
