Presidents, leaders and kings of Arab countries arrive in Jeddah to participate in the Arab summit

Jeddah, SANA-Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Lebanon’s caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati, Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani, Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council President Rashad al-Alimi, King of Bahrain Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Special Representative of His Majesty Sultan of Oman, Tunisian President Kais bin Said and Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud,President of the Republic of Djibouti, Ismail Omar Guelleh, Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and King of Jordan Abdullah II bin Al Hussein arrived to King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah to participate in the Summit.

The Algerian Prime Minister, Aymen Benabderrahmane, head of the Libyan Presidential Council, Muhammad Yunis al-Menfi, Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani, and Prince Rashid bin al-Hassan, head of the Moroccan delegation, also arrived.

SANA correspondents noted that an intense organizing movement is taking place in Jeddah city, starting from decorating the roads with the flags of the Arab countries participating in the work of the Summit, to taking strict security measures appropriate for this important event, in addition to preparing all technical and logistical matters for the Summit venue and its media center.

According to initial information, about 15 leaders, presidents, kings and princes of Arab countries are expected to arrive to participate in the work of the Summit.
