Jeddah, SANA–Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Fayssal Mikdad, met before the preparatory meeting of the Arab foreign ministers to the Arab Summit in Jeddah, the foreign ministers of Jordan Ayman Safadi, Lebanon Abdullah Bou Habib, the Sultanate of Oman Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi, Tunisia Nabil Ammar, Djibouti Mahmoud Ali Youssef, and the Minister of State in UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs Khalifa Shaheen Al-Marar.
Mikdad discussed during these meetings, means to enhance joint Arab action, the most important issues and files for discussion on the agenda of the summit, and the necessary measures to be taken to confront the challenges facing the Arab nation.
The necessity of activating bilateral relations between Arab countries was also discussed, in a way that achieves the interests and aspirations of the peoples, and the views were identical on the various issues included in these meetings.
For their part, the Arab foreign ministers renewed their welcome for Syria’s return to the Arab League meetings, and the importance of that on the overall joint Arab action.
