Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Syria, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt and Iraq starts activities

Amman, SANA-The Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Syria, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt and Iraq started activities on Monday at the Jordanian capital of Amman to further discuss a number of issues raised during the recent meetings and contacts.

SANA’s correspondent said that Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Dr. Fayssal Mikdad, and the accompanying delegation arrived at the headquarters of the ministerial meeting in Amman and they were received by Ayman al-Safadi, Jordanian Foreign Minister.

Earlier on the day, Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Dr. Fayssal Mikdad arrived in Amman to participate in the Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Syria, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt and Iraq, and he was received by Chargé d’affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Amman, Issam Niyal, and a number of embassy diplomats.

“Dr. Mikdad will participate in the Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Syria, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt and Iraq, which will be held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, to further discuss a number of issues raised during the recent meetings and contacts,” Foreign and Expatriates Ministry tweeted on Sunday.

The ministry stated that the delegation accompanying Minister Mikdad includes Assistant Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Dr. Ayman Sousan, Director of the Minister’s Office, Jamal Najeeb and Counselor Ihab Hamed from the Minister’s Office.
