A 4.1 magnitude earthquake hits southern Turkey

Ankara, SANA- An earthquake measuring 4.1 magnitude on the Richter scale struck Saturday southern Turkey.

Anatolia News Agency said that according to data published on the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management (AFAD), website, the center of the earthquake in Gokson region in Kahramanmaraş Province, at a depth of 16.36 kilometers with no damages.

On 6th of last February, two disastrous earthquakes hit Turkey, followed by thousands aftershocks, causing the death of thousands, in addition to mass damage to properties.
