Apostolic Nunciature of the Holy See congratulates Syrian people on Holy month of Ramadan

Damascus, SANA- Apostolic Nunciature of the Holy See ( Vatican ) in Damascus congratulated the Syrian people on the coming of the holy month of Ramadan and the approach of Eid al-Fitr.

In a message titled “Christians and Muslims… together to boost Amity and friendship,” Cardinal Miguel Ángel Ayuso Guixot, President of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue, extended his heartfelt wishes for Muslims that peace and prosperity would prevail in the region and the world, and Eid al-Fitr to be full of good and welfare.

Guixot referred to the importance of spreading respect, tolerance and cooperation for all people.
