Occupied Jerusalem, SANA- In a protest against the cold-blooded execution of Mohammad al-Osaibi by Israeli occupation forces next to one of the gates of al-Aqsa Mosque, and the continued crimes against the Palestinians, a general strike was held in the occupied Palestinian territories in 1948.
Wafa News Agency stated that the Higher Follow-up Committee in the occupied Palestinian territories in 1948 called for the strike which included the education and economic sectors.
The committee called for organizing stands in all the towns of these territories, in rejection of the occupation’s crimes, aggressive policies and acts of racial discrimination.
It stressed that the crime committed by occupation forces comes within the framework of the occupation’s continued targeting of the Palestinians in Jerusalem and al-Aqsa.
