Below-average temperatures, snow expected over mountains

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 3 to 5 degrees below average, as the country is affected by a low air pressure in all layers of atmosphere accompanied by wet and cold air mass, Meteorological Department said in its Saturday bulletin.

The sky will be partly cloudy to rainy with heavy rainfalls accompanied by thunder over coastal regions, snow is expected over regions of more than 1100 meters, frost and fog are also expected over the mountains and some inland regions, according the bulletin.

The expected temperatures in some Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 10/4, Daraa 10/4, Homs 11/4, Hasaka 7/3, Tartous 15/11, Aleppo 6/2, Deir Ezzor 13/4.
