Damascus, SANA- Representing President Bashar al-Assad, Assistant Secretary General of the al-Baath Arab Socialist Party, Eng. Hilal Al-Hilal, participated Tuesday in the funeral ceremony of the body of a member of the central leadership of the party, Muhammad Shaban Azouz.
Azouz’s body will be taken from the Syrian Al-Mouwasat Hospital in Damascus to be buried in his hometown of Aleppo.
Ministers of Information and Industry, The Advisor to the Presidency of the Republic, Eng. Bishr Yaziji, members of the central leadership of the party, and other, partisan and trade union figures.
The central leadership of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party, and the Central leadership of the National Progressive Front and the General Federation of Trade Unions mourned yesterday Muhammad Shaban Azouz, a member of the central leadership of the al-Baath Arab Socialist Party, who passed away yesterday afternoon in Damascus at the age of 70.
