Syrian National Orchestra performs musical concert in Int’l Symphonic Music Festival in Algiers

Algiers, SANA- The Syrian National Orchestra led by Maestro Misak Baghbudarian performed a number of musical pieces within activities of the 12th International Symphonic Music Festival held at the Opera House in Algiers.

14 Syrian musicians, members of the Syrian National Symphony Orchestra, graduates and students of the Higher Institute of Music, in addition to 300 musicians from Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Denmark, Czech Republic, Japan, Russia, Egypt, Tunisia, Sudan, South Africa, Algeria participate in the festival.

The participating Syrian musicians played music of the Argentine composer, Astor Piazzola, on the occasion of the international celebrations of the 100th anniversary of his birth and ten years since his death.

The Orchestra members were honored by the management of the festival in presence of a number of diplomats at the embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic in Algiers.
