Mikdad pays an official visit to the Republic of Abkhazia

Moscow, SANA- Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Fayssal Mikdad started today a visit to the Republic of Abkhazia.

Minister Mikdad arrived Wednesday evening in the Abkhazian capital, Sokhumi, on an official visit, a source at the Abkhazian foreign ministry said.

“Mikdad was received  at the Rusaian -Abkhazian borders by the Foreign Minister  of Abkhazia Inal Ardzinba”, the source added.

“The meeting with Mikdad comes in the context of enhancing the bilateral relations”, Ardzinba said in a press interview.

Ardzinba clarified “the visit focuses on coordinating the joint efforts, discussing the Middle East issues and other matters of common interest, including inking framework agreement that help formulate mechanism for the joint cooperation.
