Damascus, SANA- Communications and Technology Minister, Iyad Mohammad al-Khatib, discussed with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Syria, Waheed Mubarak Sayyar prospects of cooperation between the two countries in telecommunication and technology sectors.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues of digital transformation, training and exchanging experiences in the various fields of communications.
Al-Khatib affirmed Syria’s support for Bahrain in the elections for membership of ITU Council Membership (2023-2026), which will take place in the Romanian capital, Bucharest.
