Donetsk, SANA –Ukrainian forces burned tons of grain in storage facilities of Mariupol port, Adviser to the head of government of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Jan Gagin said.

The RIA Novosti news agency quoted Gagin as saying that “There is a large amount of grain, including wheat and corn in the territory of the Mariupol port, the grain is unsuitable for further use, and this due to the fact that the enemy retreat from the port, set fire to the granaries .”

Gagin indicated that the Ukraine forces burned the grain to prevent it from falling into the possession of Donetsk, so that it would be impossible to use it in any way.
