Fire brigade puts out fire in oil derivatives waste, Homs countryside

Homs, SANA- The fire brigade in Homs province put out a fire that broke out again in a pool of oil derivatives waste in vicinity of al-Zarzuriyeh village, west of Homs city.

Brigadier General Ghiath Akel, Director of Civil Defense in Homs, told SANA reporter that the branch’s members, in cooperation with firefighters of Homs Refinery, were able to put out a fire that broke out in oil derivatives on Wednesday at dawn near al-Zarzuriyeh village, west of Homs.

Akel added that Homs firefighting teams put out another fire on Tuesday that broke out in the same place and worked on cooling and monitoring it, and when it erupted again on Wednesday at dawn, it was immediately controlled and put out.
