Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will continue to rise to become from 3 to 5 degrees above average as the country is affected by a weak high air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper parts of atmosphere, the Meteorological Department said.
The skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, while at night it will be cloudy over the northwesterly and coastal regions with a little chance for showers over these regions, according to the Department’s Sunday bulletin.
At night, the weather will be cold, and frost is expected over the mountains while fog is expected in the central, al-Qalamoun and al-Ghouta regions.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a low to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
In some major Syrian cities, the expected temperatures will be as follows: Damascus 18/6, Daraa 18/6, Homs 17/6, Hasaka 18/7, Tartous 19/12, Aleppo 17/6, Deir Ezzor 19/9
