20 new coronavirus cases, 2 deaths reported in Syria

Damascus, SANA- 20 new Covid-19 cases, 120 recoveries and 2 fatalities were registered in Syria on Sunday, the Health Ministry said.

The total number of infections detected in Syria till now has reached up to 50,502, of which 33,598 have recovered and 2,926 have passed away, according to a statement by the ministry.

The first coronavirus case recorded in Syria was on March 22^nd, 2020 in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was registered on the 19^th of the same month.
