Speaker of National Assembly of Pakistan hails deeply-rooted relations between Syria and Pakistan

Islamabad, SANA- Speaker of the National Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Asad Qaiser hailed the deeply-rooted relations between Syria and Pakistan in all fields, particularly the parliamentary ones, stressing the need to enhance cooperation to promote parliamentary relations up to the level of the existing political relations between the two countries.

Qaiser, meeting Charge d’ Affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Islamabad , Mazen Obeid, appreciated the victories achieved by Syria against  the hostile terrorist war to which the county has been exposed for more than ten years.

For his part, Ambassador Obeid briefed Qaiser on the developments taking place in Syria, pointing out to the sacrifices offered by the Syrian Arab Army in the fight against terrorism and the suffering of the Syrian people as a result of economic terrorism caused by the unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria by the US and the West.

Ambassador Obeid also hailed the distinguished relations between the two countries and Pakistan’s support for Syria in various fields.
