Provinces, SANA – The Army and Armed Forces continued carrying out counterterrorism operations across the country, leaving scores of terrorists dead or injured and destroying their vehicles.
Homs
Army units eliminated many terrorists in Block 7, Rakan rise, and al-Kharab Street in al-Waer neighborhood in Homs city.
In Homs countryside, army units killed a number of terrorists, injured others, and destroyed several of their vehicles in Oum Suhairij, Salam Sharki, and al-Ghajar in al-Rastan area and in al-Hilaliye farm and al-Badu alley in Oum Sharshouh.
The army also prevented terrorists from sneaking towards Ein al-Dananir from Ein Hussein.
Daraa
Army units eliminated many terrorists, destroyed some of their vehicles, and damaged others in Dael in Daraa countryside.
The army also killed and injured scores of terrorists in the areas of Daraa al-Balad, Ataman, Dama and al-Mismyeh in Daraa countryside.
Deir Ezzor
A number of ISIS members were killed and others were injured in special operations carried out by the army against their gatherings in al-Maryaiye, al-Jbeila, al-Hweiqa, al-Rasafa, al-Orfa and Huwaijet Saker in Deir Ezzor province.
Army units, in cooperaiton with members of al-Sha’ytat tribe, confronted an ISIS terrorist attack and killed tens of them in al-Khatt al-Garbi, Khatt al-Taim, Ayash village, al-Bagilya village, and a military post in the province.
Other units, in cooperation with members of Deir Ezzor clans, eliminated many ISIS members who had attacked the TV and radio transmission station in Tal al-Jaheif in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor.
The army and clan members also killed a number of ISIS terrorists and injured others who had attempted to attck a military post in al-Taim 10km from the international highway west of Deir Ezzor city.
Idleb
Army units destroyed terrorist hideouts, killing and injuring a number of terrorists in Qarfaya, al-Akrad Mountain, Baksariya, al-Hoteh, Qara’a al-Ghazal, Kafr Shalaya, and the surroundings of al-Arbayeen Mountain in Idleb countryside.
