“Week of Resistance Films” starts with “Days of Life” at Opera House

Damascus, SANA, “Week of Resistance Films” started Sunday evening at Damascus Opera House, with the Iranian film “Days of Life”.

The week is organized by the Iranian International Establishment for resistance films, in cooperation with the General Establishment of Cinema and the Iranian Cultural Chancellery in Damascus.

Culture minister Issam Khalil said the week comes within the standing cooperation between Syria-Iran, pointing out that Syria never hesitated in standing beside Iran in the face of aggressions it faced.

For his part, Chairman of the Iranian-Syrian Economic Relations’ Development Committee Rostam Qasemi, who attended the opening ceremony, said .. Syria will be victorious in its struggle against terrorism because its people are standing together and supported by all honest people of the world, in the lead is the Iranian people who is in the same trench with them.

“Days of life” film shows part of a couple’s life during the Iraqi-Iranian war back in the eightieth.

Other films will be shown on daily basis at 16:00 till next Thursday where the film week will be closed by “Gold and Cooper” film.
