Several MPs offer their written support for their candidates to presidential elections

Damascus, SANA- For the fourth consecutive day, members of the people’s Assembly continued to offer their written support for their candidates to the president post with the number of the submitted applications which were received from the Supreme Constitutional Court reached 14 applications.

General elections’ law won’t accept the candidacy application to the President post except having a written support from at least 35 MP.

On April 18th, Speaker of the People’s Assembly Hammoudeh Sabbagh announced the commencement of candidacy for Presidential elections as of Monday April 19th till April 28th.
