Officials at charitable societies and humanitarian institutions: Meeting with Mrs. Asma al-Assad stresses importance of organizing and coordinating charitable work

Provinces, SANA- Mrs. Asma al-Assad meeting on Wednesday with a number of officials at charitable societies and humanitarian institutions and heads of chambers of commerce and industry from all provinces touched upon organizing support and assistance efforts for people in need in all Syrian provinces, particularly in light of the exhausting living conditions and the approaching of the holy month of Ramadan.

In statements to SANA, a number of the participants said that the upcoming phase will be full of ideas to deliver real support to the people in need.

Head of  Aleppo Chambers of Commerce Amer Hamwei said that the meeting with Mrs. Asma al-Assad unified the efforts of the concerned parties with the aim of distributing assistance on the ground and finding real support in a way that reach all those in need, in addition to doubling the exerted efforts in this regard.

For his part, Head of Homs Chambers of Commerce Iyad Darraq al-Sibaae pointed out to the mechanism of the Chamber in the field of the charitable work during the next phase, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan, asserting that it will be rich with ideas for providing support and charitable work, in addition to setting a plan for after the holy month.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of al-Bur and Social Services Association in Hasaka Province Yassin Mohammad Hassan stressed the importance of the charitable and humanitarian work in light of the difficult living conditions resulted from the terrorist war on Syria and the unfair siege imposed on it, particularly in Hasaka province which suffers a lot of difficulties due to the Turkish occupation and QSD militia.

Head of the Social Welfare Association in Hama Ziyad Arabo said that the association prepares for distributing food packages and clothes and money assistance to the families in need in the province and it will prepare 150,000 meals during the holy month of Ramadan.

Head of Tartous Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mazen Hammad stressed the necessary of supporting the charitable initiatives and bazaars.
