Speaker Sabbagh, Mauritanian Ambassador discuss bolstering parliamentary relations

Damascus, SANA- Speaker of the People’s Assembly Hammoudeh Sabbagh affirmed importance of enhancing parliamentary relations between Syria and Mauritania.

Sabbagh’s remarks came during a meeting with Mauritanian Ambassador in Damascus Ali Ould Ahmed Ali on Monday in Damascus.

Sabbagh pointed out to the distinguished brotherly relations between the two countries, voicing appreciation for the Mauritanian Ambassador ‘s role during the past years in performing his duties and standing by the Syrian people since the beginning of the global war on Syria, wishing him continued success.

For his part, the Mauritanian Ambassador pointed out to the importance of continued coordination with the Syrian-Mauritanian Fraternity Society at the People’s Assembly to serve the interest of the two brotherly countries.

He expressed full confidence that Syria will return better than before and achieve the final victory over terrorism.
