So-called “Caesar Act” targets livelihood of Syrians, proves brutality of US policy

Moscow, SANA- Deputy Director of the institute of Forecasting and Settling of Political Conflicts in Russia, Alexander Kuznetsov affirmed that American unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria, particularly of the so-called “Caesar Act”, target the Syrian people’s livelihood, and prove again the brutality of US policy.

“This act aims at worsening the livelihood conditions of the Syrian people, who have already suffered from the repercussions of the unjust terrorist war on their homeland, which destroyed the infrastructure,” Kuznetsov told SANA reporter in Moscow on Friday.

He stressed the need to help Syria and resort to the UN Security Council in order to review these illegitimate measures, which violate human rights in Syria especially its right to life, and to consider the legal rule of “Caesar Act” as limited and lacks tangible evidences, therefore, declaring these measures as null and void according to international charters.
