Turkish-backed mercenary continue to set fire to wheat fields in Hasaka countryside

Hasaka, SANA_ The mercenaries of the Turkish occupation continue their criminal practices against the Syrian citizens where they re-burned large areas of wheat and barley fields.

Civil sources told SANA reporter that terrorist organizations backed by the Turkish regime set fire to large areas of land planted with wheat and barley near the town of al-Arisha, occupied by the Turkish occupation forces and their mercenary in Ras Al-Ayn countryside, northwest of the Hasaka province.

The sources indicated that the Turkish regime intends, through these acts of sabotage, to put pressure on the people economically and force them to leave their towns and replace them with families of the terrorists.

Fires in agricultural crops in 2020 affected hundreds of hectares of wheat and barley in the province.
