National earthquake center: an earthquake of 5,2 on Richter scale hit Malatya city in eastern Turkey

Damascus, SANA -An earthquake of 5.2 on the Richter scale hit eastern Malatya city in Turkey on Friday.

The National Earthquake Center said that the earthquake took place at 21:08 p.m. Friday at a depth of 7 kilometers, 270 kilometers northeast of the city of Aleppo, and it has been felt in cities of northern Iraq and several Turkish cities.
