Quarantine centers throughout country ready to receive returnees from abroad

Provinces, SANA_ Health directorates in the governorates have finished preparing quarantine centers and equipped them with all necessary needs to receive citizens who wish to return from outside Syria.

These measures are within the framework of the Ministry of Health plan approved by the cabinet last week, which involves subjecting the persons who are abroad and wish to return to the 14-day quarantine in order to verify their health state and avoid any possible contagion by COVID-19.

In the northern Aleppo governorate, Health Directorate announced that it has prepared quarantine centers at the Ibn Khaldoun Hospital, Beit al-Diyafa and the University City, with a capacity of 380 beds.

In Sweida, six centers, have at least 430 beds, were equipped with all the necessary services while Quneitra Health Directorate revealed that four new centers with about 70 beds are now ready to serve returnees.
