Army units uncover tunnels, ammo cache, and training center for terrorists in Idleb countryside

Idleb, SANA – During canvassing operations in the areas liberated from terrorism in Idleb’s southern countryside, Syrian Arab Army units uncovered a network of tunnels.

SANA’s reporter said army units uncovered a series of tunnels in the northern countryside of Ma’aret al-Nu’man containing living quarters and facilities for training terrorists and manufacturing ammo, shells, and IEDs.

A field commander told SANA said the army uncovered a training camp for “Failaq al-Cham” terrorists containing a command center and assorted ammo including mortar rounds, anti-air ammo, BMP shells, and machinegun and assault rifle ammo, in addition to protective masks of Western make that are used by people handling chemical weapons.

The reporter added that army units uncovered a deep tunnel containing living quarters for terrorists near the weapons and ammo caches.
