Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will rise, yet they will remain slightly below average as the country is affected by a weak low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere accompanied by a cold and wet air mass.
Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general and rains will fall over different areas, particularly in the coastal region.
At night the weather will be cold at night, and fog is expected in most inland areas while frost is expected over the mountains.
The wind will be southwesterly with a moderate speed and active gusts sometimes, particularly in the southern region and the sea waves will be medium in height.
Different amounts of rainfalls have been registered in a number of provinces as follows: Tartous 75mm, Hama 65mm, Lattakia 51 mm, Homs 31 mm and Quneitra 35mm.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 10-5, Daraa 11-5, Homs 9/4, Lattakia 15-11, Aleppo 10-6 and Deir Ezzor 13-6.
