Parliament Committee discusses budgets of Petroleum, Foreign ministeries for 2015

Damascus, SANA-People’s Assembly’s Accounts and Budget Committee discussed Wednesday the Petroleum and Mineral resources’ approbations of investment projects for 2105, set at 10.524.000 billion SYP.

Minister of Petroleum, Suleiman al-Abbas pointed out to the retreat of oil sector at the State’s General Budget due to the systemized sabotage acts of armed terrorist organizations against this pivotal economic sector.

He affirmed that al-Shaer gas station in Homs countryside will be back to work during one-week, saying that the reasons behind the shortage in the gas domestic cylinders are the unfair economic sanctions imposed by western countries on the Syrian people which postponed the arrival of the tankers into Syrian ports.

Earlier, the Committee discussed the investment budget of the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry for 2105 with /279.500/ million SYP amount.

Members of the Committee called for preserving the identity, national independence and attracting the expatriates and communicating them to help reconstruct Syria.

Ahmad Arnous, Advisor to the Foreign Minister presented a political brief on the initiative of the UN Envoy to Syria Staffan de Mistura.
