Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will continue to rise slightly to become above average in most areas as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and the weather will be cold at night, warning against fog at night and in the early morning.
The wind will be western to southwestern with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 35/18, Daraa 34/18, Homs 32/19, Lattakia 31/23, Aleppo 34/18 and Deir Ezzor 39/20.
