Temperatures to rise, showers expected over coastal mountains

Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will rise slightly to become around average or slightly higher as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and showers will fall over the coastal mountains at night.

The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 34/20, Daraa 32/20, Homs 32/17, Lattakia 31/23, Aleppo 34/21 and Deir Ezzor 37/24.
