Two gold medals and a silver one for Syria in the 2nd day of West Asia Championship

Beirut, SANA- Syrian athletics team on Friday won three medals; two gold and one silver, at the 3rd West Asia Junior Championship currently held at the Lebanese capital city of Beirut.

In the second day of the Championship ,Rima al-Hasan won a gold medal for throwing the iron ball , and Aya Rouhiah won the gold medal at 400 meters race hurdles for junior female athletes, while Zen al- Abidine Ismaiel won the silver medal in 400 meters race hurdles.

The Championship will last till August 18th.
