Damascus, SANA_ More than 100 paintings by cartoonists from 67 countries participated in the 15th International Cartoon Contest ,Syria 2019, hosted by the Damascus-based Opera House.
The works were chosen from a large number of works presented by 500 cartoonists which included different ideas and methods for one theme which is “the time” and its importance in human life and the need to invest it in a positive way.
On the sidelines of the event, a short documentary film was screened highlighting the importance of time.
1st International Cartoon Contest was launched in 2005 with the participation of 48 countries.
