Syrian Team for Chess ranks second in Arab Championship

Tunis, SANA – Syrian Team for Chess won a silver medal and ranked second in the Arab Championship for Chess.

The Tunisian team ranked first and the Syrian team ranked second in the Championship. In the individual games, Bashir Ayti won a gold medal and Malek Qounia won a bronze medal.

The Syrian chess members are Bashir Ayti, Malek Qounia, Aram Adam, Talal al-Zaim and Quteiba Ghannam.
