Berlin, SANA- During their meeting in Munich on Friday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed with his German counterpart Haikou Mas the process of the political settlement to the crisis in Syria.
“Lavrov held a meeting with Mas on sidelines of the 55th Munich Security Conference (MSC) during which the two sides discussed vital issues on the bilateral and international agenda and they exchanged viewpoints on the required political settlement to the crisis in Syria in the context of Sochi Summit, in addition the Ukrainian crisis,” Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
At the conclusion of their meeting in Sochi on Thursday, presidents of the guarantor states “Russia, Iran and Turkey” reaffirmed their firm commitment to Syria’s unity, sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity and the continuation of combating terrorism in it.
