Zakharova: Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists refuse to leave demilitarized zone in Idleb

Moscow, SANA – Russian Foreign Ministry’s spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on Wednesday stated that Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists refused to withdraw from the demilitarized area in Idleb.

Zakharova, at a press conference in Moscow, pointed out that Sochi agreement provides for the withdrawal of all terrorist groups from the demilitarized area in Idleb by 15th of October, adding that some militants left the area after the pull out of their heavy weaponry but terrorists affiliated to Tahrir al-Sham (Jabhat al-Nusra) refused to take similar steps and provoked several terrorist groups affiliated to al-Qaeda not to obey.

She noted that the terrorists established a unified center in Idleb with the aim of continuing their provocations, expressing hope that the Turkish regime would fulfill its obligations according to Sochi agreement and guarantee the full implementation of it.
