Moscow, SANA- President of the International Football Association (FIFA) Gianni Infantino announced Sunday that the FIFA is studying a request by Syria to lift the ban on its stadiums.
Infantino expressed hope that the Syrian teams will participate in international qualifiers on their land.
In a reply to a question on the possibility of lifting the ban of the Syrian stadiums he said: “ I hope so, the Syrians have made a request and we will certainly study it, as we did with Iraq.”
Infantino hoped to see the Syrian teams playing on their land.
