Baghdad’s Quadripartite Information Center discusses security issues

Baghdad, SANA- Delegations representing the countries participating in the Quadripartite Information Center which includes Syria, Russia, Iraq and Iran, discussed in Baghdad on Thursday a number of regional and international security issues, especially combating terrorism.

Means to develop the Center’s work and plans to ensure its continuity in enhancing security in the upcoming phase were also discussed during the meeting.

Iraq’s Director of Military Intelligence Major General Saad Mezher Al-Alaq expressed confidence in the strengthening of relations between the Center’s parties to serve the interests of the participating countries and enhance their national security.

He called for enhancing coordination and cooperation even after the elimination of the terrorist organization of Daesh (ISIS).

The participants, for their part, appreciated the efforts of the Center in providing important information that contributed directly in undermining the activities of terrorist gangs in Syria and Iraq.
