Damascus Countryside, SANA- The industrial zone of Fadlon which is located in al-Qadam area, south Damascus, and comprises half of Damascus industries that vary between textile, chemical, clothing, thread production, medicine, steel and others was able to recover once the security and safety restored to the area.
The industrialists began to rehabilitate their facilities despite the great destruction and began production.
The continues work and intensified efforts exerted by Damascus Countryside governorate and the owners of the facilities in Fadlon industrial zone to rehabilitate the devastated infrastructure and provide various services of water, electricity, sewerage, telephone lines and other necessary services have helped this vital zone to work and factories to produce again.
Head of the Industrialists Committee in Fadlon, Mazen Shab’on, said that Fadlon industrial zone has recovered and restored activity thanks to the efforts and sacrifices of the Syrian army.
The industrialists rushed to rehabilitate their facilities where the number of factories that started production reached 140 factories as there are 100 other facilities under restoration, Shab’on added, hailing the state remarkable efforts exerted to secure all basic services quickly.
