Moscow, SANA- The Russian Presidency has confirmed that Russia will not abandon its diplomatic efforts on the situation in Syria.
Kremlin spokesperson, Dmitry Piskov, said that position of the United States and other countries regarding the claims of chemical weapons’ use in Syria is not constructive.
In turn, Deputy Foreign Minister, Mikhail Bogdanov, said that Russia hopes there will be no threat of a military confrontation with the United States in Syria.
“We hope the United States will take into account Moscow’s warning of the bad consequences of any external attack on Syria under the pretext of fabricated news.” Bogdanov told press conference.
